When planning a trip, it's important to map out your activities including where you will arrive and depart, where your hotel is located, metro stops, attractions and other items you may be interested in.  You should also develop a plan and organize your activities in a logical order to minimize travel time between them.cal order to minimize travel time between them.

There are several different ways to utilize maps to plan your routes and activities.  You may be more comfortable using a physical map and highlighting or circling the places you intend to visit.  You may also use Google Maps to find your locations and easily enter and order the attractions you plan to visit into the Trip Builder.  Our Interactive Map Search and Side-by-Side pages will make this entire process quick and easy.  Once you have entered your locations and attractions into the Keep in mind that mobile service may be limited in some our of the way areas, so using mobile navigation can sometimes be slow or difficult, so you should always bring some type of backup along with you.
